Super SCARY Storm Raena lauren We were playing a game of catch and the wind started whipping my hair around my face. The wind started blowing in huge, gray clouds. The wind turned icy but we weren't surprised. Texas weather-especially in April-could get really crazy."We better head home", came Sarah's voice from the other end of the field. The middle of a neighborhood park was not the place to be with a storm on the way.
We raced to the house to get shelter but it was to late the storm was heading in quick. As we were just about to get to the house Sarah yelled tornado. it world around in a dark wisk spinning and spinning. We were in danger. We had gotten sucked up into the tornado. We were doomed!!!
Everyone got pulled up and over.Below us fields of wildflowers and farmers' crops rustled in the heavy breeze. Finally the tornado died . It collapsed and dropped them all from about 10 feet in the air. It was just their luck that landed them in a mud pile. Luckily the worst they got hurt was some sprains and were able to limp to the farmer' s house nearby. They called home and got picked up by worrying parents. The next time a storm was coming they were inside well before the lightning struck!
